Coast, dust, trees and winter rain
Cape Town does not present one uniform roof environment. Atlantic suburbs receive salt aerosol and wind-blown sand, inland areas experience dry-season dust and pollen, and leafy southern neighbourhoods can refill gutters quickly after wind or seasonal leaf fall. Sunflow scopes the service around the property’s actual exposure rather than making a blanket claim about every suburb.
Where does Sunflow work?
Our current operating area covers Cape Town and the listed surrounding suburbs. We serve eligible single- and double-storey homes, body corporates, schools, offices, retail properties, warehouses and managed sites. Buildings above two storeys fall outside our present insurance scope.
What if my suburb is not listed?
Contact us with the address and service required. A missing suburb page does not automatically mean the property is outside our coverage; it simply means we need to confirm travel, access and scheduling before quoting.
How local quotes are prepared
For solar work, include the panel count, storeys and photographs of the array and access route. For gutters, include storeys, bedroom count, roof photographs and any history of overflow. Four-bedroom and larger homes are quoted individually because roof size varies considerably.
