Why specialist roof maintenance?
A solar array is a valuable electrical system, not simply another glass surface. Gutters are part of the building’s rainwater-management system, not an afterthought. Sunflow’s narrow focus allows each quote, access plan and service method to respond to those realities.
Our solar-panel approach
We use professional Kärcher solar-panel cleaning equipment selected for the array, access conditions and level of contamination. The process is controlled and non-abrasive: panels are not pressure-washed, walked on or treated with harsh household chemicals. Visible electrical or installation concerns are reported rather than repaired as part of cleaning.
Our gutter approach
We remove debris from accessible channels, clear accessible outlet entries and collect the material from the property. Where we see damaged sections, incorrect fall or a likely underground drainage blockage, we explain that the issue may require a gutter contractor or plumber.
Insurance and height limits
Our current insurance scope limits work to eligible single- and double-storey properties. Buildings above two storeys are not accepted. Every job also remains subject to roof condition, pitch, weather and safe access; a quote is not permission to proceed if conditions are unsafe on arrival.
Clear quoting and communication
Customers receive a defined scope before booking. Panel count, property size, storeys, access and build-up all matter, so starting prices are guides rather than promises for every roof. Useful photos allow us to ask better questions before the visit.
Who we serve
Sunflow works with Cape Town homeowners, body corporates, property managers and eligible low-rise commercial sites. Scheduled maintenance options are available where recurring visits and service records are valuable.
